Jesse Boartfield

Jesse Started playing guitar at age 10. At age 13 he received his first electic guitar for his birthday. While still in highschool Jesse formed his first band, J.C. & The DuWops, in 1980. After highschool Jesse played with numerous bands including: Sudden Impulse, Jesse & The 44th Street Band, Ceramic Cowboys, The Garden Party, The Jesse Boartfield Band, Suspended Animation, and Anti-Crisis. He Joined Henry Neal, Dale McCrory, and Doug Woodard in 1991 to form Southland. Jesse's influences range form John Denver to The Beatles, Eric Clapton to Stevie Ray Vaughan,and Peter Buck of R.E.M. to Kurt Cobain of Nirvana.
